Funeral and related activities
The company, with registered head office in Almeria, Spain, is the largest funeral service group in Spain and one of the largest in Europe. The company was established in 1990 through the union of professional experts of the Spanish funeral sector. The company provides funeral services both nationally and internationally. The services covers funerals, private funeral services, funeral parlors, burials, incinerations, exhumations, transfers, the management and processing of death certificates, and flowers. The company has a presence across five autonomous communities in Spain. It operates 25 cemeteries in Spain, 32 in Argentina and one in Budapest in Hungary, in addition to its funeral parlors. The company also operates more than 20 subsidiaries with diverse activities, such as funeral service operations, cemetery construction and management, and funeral parlor construction and management, as well as the installation and management of crematory ovens. Furthermore, it operates a national network of 225 funeral companies through means of a contract. The company is able to offer every type of funeral service in homes, wakes and funeral parlors, as well as any other service that may be required. In 2005, it has made approximately 45,000 funeral services, 32,000 services in cemeteries, 13,500 incinerations, 27,000 services in rooms of funeral homes, taking care of more than 118,000 families in Spain and abroad.
